While SYSPRO is feature rich, SYSPRO had the foresight to see that there will always be needs outside its feature set.
To address this, there are a number of ways to customise your SYSPRO system and add new functions to it. The good news is that customisation does not necessarily require costly changes to source programs, which need rewrites every time there is an upgrade.
SYSPRO technology now allows us to enhance the way we process and present information, thereby getting closer to meeting your company’s unique system needs.
Customisation does not affect software upgrades nor does it compromise the security of your SYSPRO system.

Customisation overview
SYSPRO can be customised at many levels, ranging from simple personalisation (through translating field descriptions), to writing your own user interface and work flow.
At its simplest level, SYSPRO provides options that enable you to manipulate screen real estate to match your needs. You can build your own menus and decide on themes for queries that display within the SYSPRO browser. In addition, you can set preferences against programs that specify how much information is displayed.
The language translation editor facility allows any caption or phrase used in the product to be translated or changed according to industry terminology.
Forms can be customised by removing unwanted fields, adding additional standard fields, adding custom fields and even interacting with other fields on other forms.
